At our recent Kids Free Shopping Spree, we were able to serve 65 kids! Praise God!
What would it look like for our church to be able to have 65 new kids and their families join us on a Sunday morning? That is the question we are going to be thinking about over the next 65 days as we begin our new Project 65 breakthrough prayer. We have been called to spread God’s presence like a fire so that the people in our community can know the hope and love of Christ, but the current room we use for ARKids (our Sunday School program) is already nearing a maximum capacity. We will be considering what facility options would work best for our congregation. Initial ideas shared at Pizza with the Pastor included things like; offering multiple services, adding new rooms to our current space, offering Sunday School after the worship service in the main worship area, purchasing the church building across the interstate or purchasing the land next to our current facility. Our God is a creative God, so we know that there are many other options available to fulfill this need. As you pray every day, would you please write down any idea that God brings to you about facility options? We will gather together on February 20 at 6:30 pm to have a brainstorming session where everyone will share their ideas. If we find one or two options that seem like they will be the right fit for our congregation, we will begin gathering information for deeper consideration. If nothing seems right, we will enter another time of prayer.
The ministry possibilities this may bring is not limited to ARKids but will also positively impact things like Bible study options, break-out group spaces for our Celebrate Recovery Ministry and open the door to many more opportunities.

Our Project 65 Breakthrough prayer to pray every day 12/17/18-2/19/19 at 6:50am or pm
Creating God, you have called us to spread your presence like a fire. We ask you to give us wisdom today. Show us what our space should look like so that we can bring your people into our congregation to experience your hope and joy. Help us be open to your plan and guide us in our conversations about our facilities. Amen.
